In 1982 David joined Radio City in Dublin as a sports announcer and realised a boyhood dream of being on the radio. David is now almost 25 years in the business and has established himself as a well known presenter and programme manager.

During the 80's he spent time at various stations throughout Dublin City including Heartbeat FM Dublin's love song station and Class Radio. Both these station were unique as they had a distinctive style and sound.

In 1989 David was headhunted from ireland to Breeze AM and spent just over 9 years presenting everything from breakfast to late night. He also got heavily involved in roadshows and promotions and management at the station.

In 1998 he was approached by Chelmer FM and presented their launch breakfast show.He was the Programme Controller and presented 10-2 Monday - Friday. His role was to oversee and implement the stations programming policy. he also coached presenters and was responsible for the marketing and brand management at the station as well as organising and developing relationships with businesses.

After four years at Classic Gold where he ran the essex operation looking after the day to day runnings of the station,Classic Gold for David was probably his finest four years he has had to date, where he took the station out into the marketplace in unique ways. he broadcasted live from a womens prison, an orphanage in poverty and deprived areas of the balkans, and also ensured the station received huge tv exposure through its huge association with essex county cricket.. given the competition in the essex area david single handedly transformed classic gold in essex giving them a much higher profile to what it had, figures proved this with big audience increases during 2005/06. David was also part of classic gold nationally and even covered tony blackburns breakfast from time to time. David is creative and a people person as well as a team player. he is very motivated and loves making stations stick out in the marketplace. he decided to return to ireland in november 2006 to pursue the irish radio market and is currently heard regularly on Dublins Q102 and Kildares Kfm. the next move for david will be interesting, with lots of movement in the irish radio market and with his experience it won't be long before a station somewhere comes under his belt! watch this space.!!!
